Building on Faith Clean-Up

This September, we are teaming up with Thrivent (as our many other Habitat for Humanity affiliates around the country) to make an immediate impact on local housing and community needs! Our plan is to gather faith leaders and believers to make a visual impact in our own backyard.

Our specific project will be to clean-up the lot adjacent to Hand's Woods, located along Juniata Street in Lancaster City. Our goal is to be good stewards of the lot and good neighbors while we work to determine the best use of the land for our community.

Come join us as we share more about our hopes for the coming years, remove trash and beautify the neighborhood! All ages welcome and encouraged! (Children 17 and under must have an adult present. The minimum age for volunteering can be determined by the parent/adult and what you determine appropriate).

Please note that this event will be held near and/or in a wooded area. So if you have a bee or insect allergy, please bring an epi pen with you (just in case) and note that allergy when you sign-up.
